Whilst we began as an outdoor catering company, specialising in the best quality barbecuing, hog and lamb roasts, we have developed into an all round catering business covering a range of events. Each event is unique, with a different style, budget, and number of attending guests. This means that each event that we cater for is directly tailored to the preferences of our customer.
Celebration food for large numbers of guests
For large casual outdoor events, a beautiful buffet creates the right ambience and feels generous and celebratory. Whilst our chefs and team will be on hand to assist and replenish food, guests can mingle and chat at their own pace, whilst filling their plates with beautiful food. We often create identical serving areas to split numbers of guests to make sure everyone gets through quickly, and love to dress our tables with colourful table cloths and flowers.
Typically we a selection of excellent meat options, perhaps a lamb roast exciting seasonal salads, roasted vegetables, homemade condiments and dips, vegetarian options and either a warm flat bread or soft floury bap.
Hog roast, lamb roast and whole animal cookery
A hog roast is always a celebration. Unlike many cheaper hog roasting companies, our pork is always free range and cooked traditionally over open fire (never on gas) using lumpwood charcoal and oak logs. Typically a 50 kg pig feeds around 100 people.
A lamb roast is also fantastic. We dry rub the lamb with salt and spices, and spray throughout with extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice which gives the lamb a delicious crust, with tender blushing meat beneath. A lamb roast feeds 40 to 50 people. However, if you are planning a party or wedding with larger numbers, we can easily roast two lambs, or have a barbecue alongside this to accommodate larger numbers.
